The Next “Invisible Gold” Discovery Just Miles from the Majors?

Cyon Exploration

It’d be easy for some to overlook the “invisible gold” in Nevada’s booming Cortez Trend. But with an estimated 50 million ounces of gold hidden below the surface, it’s quickly become one of the world’s richest gold regions.

The gold in these Carlin-type deposits often only measures out to about 1 micron in size – about 1/70th the size of a human hair. And because anything less than 40 microns is invisible to the naked eye…

Much of the gold in the region is impossible to detect except with proper sampling.

But the “invisible gold” in these make up some of the largest hydrothermal gold deposits in the world.

Which is why early investors are keeping a close eye on Cyon Exploration’s Black Rock Canyon property.

Many of the majors are pouring money into this region as well, which suggests even more upside for Cyon.

In 2018, mining companies spent an estimated $460 million on exploration alone in Nevada.

And that’s before spending a single dime on development or production.

Plus, between the rich geology and the government support for the mining industry…

Fraser Institute has named Nevada one of the top mining regions in the world.

CYON RECEIVES DRILLING PERMIT AND FINALIZES PLANS FOR DRILL PROGRAM

Following a review of historical exploration and mining data, Cyon has best determined drill site locations and plans on an initial 3,000 meter drill program.  Historical drilling was limited to depths of less than 300 meters; significant gold anomalies are present at shallow depths and indications are that deeper drilling may find similar geologic formations that host the major gold deposits of the Cortez gold trend.

Cyon Exploration is a junior gold exploration company focused on its highly prospective Black Rock Canyon Project located in the shadow of Barrick Gold’s world-class Cortez Gold Mine.  The Pipeline – Cortez mining complex, about 10mi to 14.5mi southeast of the Black Rock Canyon property contains a total of more than 45 million ounces of gold (documented past production plus reserves and resources). Additional Measured and Indicated resources of 9.4 million ounces of gold, and Inferred resources of 11.9 million ounces, have been defined at the Goldrush deposit.
